Ngayi Parri Wrap

‘Ngayi Parri’ explores the narrative between artefact and ornament, of a place, a home and a way of life. It’s an idea about expressing everything that Is old, and true and honest and raw, about the existing First Nation ancient stories, art and cultural practises that capture the spirit and excitement of the Australian landscape and environment. My designs speak of my cultural heritage and embraces the historic character and footprints spoken through the reflection of land, sea and sky. The designs tell a story of memories as a child growing up Country. The contemporary designs tell a story of healing country through high lighting Country the way it was and how it should be. Our Country was full of fresh water and abundance of bush foods and bush medicines.
